3M Brand 460M Resin is high performance, ambient temperature curing resin with hydrophobic properties. It is a two part, solvent
free resin system. It has excellent flow characteristics, eliminating any void formation. The low exothermic reaction leads to minimal shrinkage during curing. It is compatible with all metallic and synthetic materials normally used in cable manufacture.

Remove the UNIPAK bag from the guard bag, break the barrier between the two compartments and mix the resin well for three minutes. Then cut one corner of the UNIPAK bag and pour the resin into the mould or work piece. In Mixpacks, pour the contents of the small can into the large can. Mix thoroughly with the provided stirrer stick until you get a homogenous colour (at least 3 minutes).
Pour the resin into the mould or work piece.
3M Brand 460M Resin packed in an aluminium foil guard bags which contain less than 1.0 % magnesium.
3M Material safety data sheets are available on request. General safety procedure is to prevent skin and eye contact and to provide adequate ventilation. Eye contact – Flush with plenty of water, call a physician.
